The “Should”

I’ve been a victim of the “should” often in my life. I spent 4 summers as a daycamp leader and a year attempting to get into teacher’s college because I thought I “should” be a teacher. It sure felt like a loaded diaper. I don’t like teaching in the classroom… I like sharing; if anyone ever learns anything out of anything I’ve shared… well then sweet, but school can kiss my ass. Thank god I wasn’t accepted. (hooray!! Never, NEVER doubt that even shitty things happen for a reason…. more ‘shoulds’ ha!!)

Losing “shoulds” is a big part of how I’m Peeling Onions - just follow joy.
